Best Jewish movie EVER!

Being an avid movie goer, I rarely give a Jewish movie a 5 star review. This is because Jewish "movies" often have bad acting, and poor production, while the in others the only thing that makes them Jewish is that some of the actors where a Yalmuka and Tzitzis. Mechel is different. I heard about Mechel From a friend a few mounts ago when it had just come out and was still only for rent. But didn't get around to watching it until recently. I must say it was definitely worth the $25! *WARNING, THIS PARAGRAPH GOES THREW THE GENERAL STORY OF MECHEL, I TRIED NOT TO BUT IT MAY CONTAIN SOME SPOILERS* The main story line takes place in a WWII setting. The movie starts in a small Shtettal (European village) and follows Mechel, a young boy, as he escapes. Mechel could have gotten away on the Kindder Transport, a train that brought many children out before the war, but a boy had just told everybody some Loshon Hara (gossip) about him and he was to embarrassed to face his friends. Because of this Mechel faced a lot of trauma escaping and was not able to lead a normal life and ended up as a beggar in a park. **END OF SPOILER** The movie is full of action and drama, climaxing with a lesson at the end. The lesson is so ingrained in the movie that it is almost unnecessary to even mention it at the end, but still doesn't feel as if it is being forced on you. By making all of the characters very relatable the lesson comes off much more powerful. At the end of the movie you feel a real connection with Mechel and really feel bad for him. The movie was really worth the money and obviously must have taken a lot of time and money to produce. I cant wait for the next Liel Shalom Production!!
