The Mask She Wears (Video)

33   |

Show is intended for MARRIED WOMEN* due to sensitive subject matter;

*Not appropriate for unmarried women under age 25.

Under the rabbinical guidance of R' Zev Leff, R' Dovid Orlofsky and others.

The Mask She Wears is a contemporary musical drama about the lives of three young women, each dealing with a different nisayon - that her friends don't necessarily know about. As each woman is propelled towards the resolution of her own conflict, she also inadvertently ends up stepping on her friends’ toes. This powerful and groundbreaking show is intended to raise sensitivity as well as to increase awareness, because we never really know what the people around us are dealing with. Discretion is advised as delicate subjects such as infertility and shalom bayis issues are portrayed.

Nice

Beautifully done video (play) on awareness on the masks we and our friends wear. Its not a story with an ending. I enjoyed it.

I cried

As a person who belongs to all three categories. I am very low income (I even get paid late because of my single status!) , I was in an abusive marriage and I don't have kids as I am divorced and yes people can sting my heart. It was very well done! One thing if it wasn't on stage ,maybe it would have had a stronger impression.

Highly recommend!

The message, which is one we all know but is hard to live by is visually projected here in such a beautiful and creative way! A night well spent!

WOW!!!

What a refreshing and honest look inside of real women's lives! Esther's brave portrayal of what so many of us experience, at least on some level, is sensitive, authentic, genuine, witty -- just the right amount of humor. And phenomenal talent happening over there. I also really appreciated the subtle, minimalistic use of props and scenery. Pure artistry! Totally looking forward to this woman's next project!
