Menachem Assaf is stepping up to the stage. He has already been involved in Jewish music production for about a decade and a half, including A Poshiter Yid by Lipa, some of the projects of the Hamenagnim choir, as well as Effi Rosen’s album Tachlis Raayon.
When he was an Avreich he began studying musical production under the well known Mishel Michaeli, who was one of the first to begin digital musical production. The two of them became close friends and Mishel taught him some of the secrets of the trade. Together they established the Atmosphere studio in Ashdod, and Menachem started professionalizing in mixing and mastering. Besides for recording songs, Menachem also composes and arranges voice overs for movies and other productions. Nowadays he splits his time between learning in the Beis Medrash and working in the recording studios.
Along the years he began wanting to make some of his own music, instead of just other people’s. In honor of the upcoming release of his debut album, he is releasing the first taste, called Keitz Ha’Yamim, which he composed and arranged himself.
