In a recent journey to Italy, 21-year-old Zalman Krause takes on the streets of ancient Rome while being inspired by his surroundings.

Krause, a singer/songwriter from Morristown, NJ, has been named the “Jack Johnson of Jewish music”, and is known for his soulful vocals and trademark guitar finger-picking style. Zalman has recently been signed to Infidel Artists, LLC, a label of the illustrious Water Music Studios.

“I named the song – ‘Open the door'”, says Zalman, “because it’s a term that I can relate to, as new opportunities always come knocking at our doors , and all we have to do is open up and embrace them.”

Krause who is also a finalist in the popular A Jewish Star International Singing Competition, currently plays shows throughout the tri-state area and is planning a tour of Israel in 2014.
