JRunners, the Brooklyn based Jewish runners group that combines health and fitness with tzedaka, held their 2nd annual relay race this past week, with eight teams of runners racing from Prospect Park to the Catskills to raise money for the Ohr Meir Foundation, which arranges programs and trips for children with cancer. Eighty runners, countless volunteers, and, of course, JMR converged at Sullivan County Community College yesterday in upstate Loch Sheldrake for a gala finish line event open to the public including inflatable rides, Uncle Moishy and a gala concert featuring 8th Day, Eli Schwebel, Aryeh Kunstler, Shea Rubenstein and Shloime Dachs with music by the Shloime Dachs Orchestra.
