Ari Goldwag – Shomrim

by Jewish Music Reporter April 10, 2011

via Ari: “I composed this song while driving from Jerusalem to Ramat Bet Shemesh this past week, while thinking about my love for Hashem. The words are “Shomrim hafked l’ircha, kol hayom v’chol halayla” – “Place guards over your city, all day and all night.” Hashem is the one who protects our Jerusalem, and our entire country. We thank those who represent him, the IDF, and we acknowledge that God is ultimately the one who is behind it all.”
