JCCRP Annual Street Fair and Concert to feature Chaim Dovid

The Jewish Community Council of The Rockaway Peninsula will be hosting its annual street fair and concert on June 23rd 2010. The event takes place on Reads Lane between Elvira rd and Cedar Hill rd in Far Rockaway and will feature inflatable rides for kids followed by an outdoor concert.

This years concert will feature world renowned singer/songwriter Chaim Dovid and local superstar Yitzy Bald and his boys choir. This is a free event sponsored by the JCCRP, local elected officials and area businesses. There will be giveaways, raffles, prizes, BBQ food for sale as well as cotton candy and other assorted carnival treats. Rides run from 2:30 – 6:30 followed by the concert.

Past performers have included, Avraham Rosenblum of Diaspora fame, Eitan Katz, The Nochi Krohn Band and others. The event promises to be a fantastic time for the entire family. The concert rain site will be the Torah Academy for Girls Auditorium at 444 Beach 6th Street in Far Rockaway.
