What could be better than a chance to enhance your music collection and give tzedaka at the same time? Check out “Pioneers for a Cure” (www.pioneersforacure.org) – this dedicated group is getting big musicians to dedicate a newly-produced song to support their choice of cancer research institute or organization. The artists take an old song whose copyright has long since expired, and remake it with their own style. You join in by donating whatever you’d like from $1.99 and up per song; and the proceeds go straight to the artists’ choice of institution.
A number of frum artists have joined the cause this far, including both Yosi and Avi Piamenta, Dov Rosenblatt (of Blue Fringe), Dudu Fisher, Noah Solomon, Rashanim and many others. Check it out, and support the effort to beat cancer!
