Chasdei Soul II Soul, the organization that provides scholarships for special needs Jewish education, announces that the performers for the upcoming Soul II Soul 5774 concert will be Benny Friedman and 8th Day.
Joining them on the Soul II Soul stage will be the Freilach band and the Shira choir.
“We have performed at many shows, but somehow this one is special.” said Bentzi Marcus of 8th Day. “We still get great feedback about our first time on the Soul II Soul stage last year. We are excited to be back and we’re bringing a bunch of new hits with us, G-d willing.”
Coming off the worldwide runaway success of his latest album Yesh Tikvah, Benny Friedman joins the show and will bring his unique style to an exciting evening.
“I love the Soul II Soul show not just because it’s a great show with amazing energy, but also because we are getting together to help those special Neshomas connect with Torah in
the best way possible. What could be better than that?” said Benny Friedman.
This will be the 12th annual benefit concert. Past performers have included the top names in Jewish music like Avraham Fried, Mordechai Ben David, Yaakov Shwekey and Lipa Shmeltzer.
The show will take place on March 2, 2014 Rosh Chodesh Adar II 5774. At the Brooklyn School of Music, 883 Classon Ave, Brooklyn, NY, at 7:30 PM.
Tickets will be available on January 31, 2014 at jewishtickets.com and at Judaica World, 329
Kingston Ave, Brooklyn, NY.
