‘Hadoch Kamai’-Effi Rosen’s first single

Israel exports new Hassidic music discovery to the world:
This is the story of a music artist, not just a ‘singer’, who decided to produce his own album the hard way. To record his debut album, Effi Rosen needed to set up a new studio, from the very beginning, explains Menachem Safra his manager, “At first we went to a famous recording studio, like everybody does, but we felt ‘this isn’t it’, so we started our own studio. In the meantime, Michel Michaeli, formerly CEO of the company Earth Wind & Fire and currently owner of ‘Grande Chose Productions”, a well known face in the general music scene, joined the team. He was enthusiastic after hearing some of the material and encouraged them to take it seriously, like the top name artists around the world

The best way to showcase the material for the album was the one they chose using the purpose built studio. However, in the meantime, with siyata dishmaya word of the studio got out and it began attracting famous names (Lipa Shmelzer – A poshiter Yid, the Menagnim Orchestra, and others). This way the producers were able to gather together the best professional musicians to create a totally different atmosphere and consequently a different result. “With much siyata dishmaya and good planning, we managed to create this masterpiece”, says Safra

Effi Rosen, aged 30, married and the father of five, lives in Ashdod. In his youth he was the soloist in youth choirs under the direction of Yishai Lapidot, but that was only the beginning. Having performed on stage for years, Effi Rosen now presents his own “Hadoch Kamai”, giving you a taste of his first awesome album

In this, “Tachlit Raayon” (Purpose of Concept) his debut album various musical styles which are different from the norm are used. Rythms that don’t usually appear in hassidic music appear, such as samba, bossa nova, metal, and more. The music was composed by Effi Rosen, Menachem Safra, R.
