Really well done!
I was skeptical about an album of only covers, but this is a great collection of songs, presented in a fresh and fitting manner. Dovid Lowy's voice is as sweet as ever, and the music has more depth and diversity than I might have expected when hearing the phrase "acoustic album." The songs flow together really nicely -- these are well-thought-out medleys, not just song fragments stuck together, and when listening to the tracks in order, there is no sense that you're missing out on the rest of the song. As individual tracks, though, the songs get cut off a bit abruptly. It might have been nice to package each medley as a single track to prevent that. But I have no desire to skip any tracks, so I'm just happily listening to the whole album all the way through. The guest appearances by Aryeh Kunstler, Ari Goldwag, Shlomo Lowy, Pesach Woznica, and Yosef Kugler are top notch, too!
