NON VIMEO STREAM AVAILABLE!
We know so many people who run when there’s a new Miriam Handler production being performed. That’s because, when Miriam is behind production, there is nothing quite like it. She has been directing live theater for almost 40 years, starting with the groundbreaking N’shei Tzedakah Players which was the first of its kind…to the Ten Yad Comedy Shows…and of course, to the Rachel’s Place productions, for which she is most well-known.
These theatrical productions are on a different level than anything you’ve seen in the Jewish world. The talent (wow), the music, the makeup, the lightning…these productions transport their all-female audiences to another time and place, while entertaining and delighting.
But during the COVID-era, a show with a live audience simply wasn’t possible. So what to do? There was not going to be any stopping Miriam now….
Rather than take a year off, Miriam got to work and adapted, bringing all the talent together to produce a beautiful show. Sit back, relax and enjoy!
I really enjoyed watching it it got me rolling I would love for it to be longer though
One voice is a highly entertaining variety of top talent MINDY BLATT is next level both in her vocals and presence ion screen. My girls and I can't get enough of her. The whole video was professional and enjoyable! Thank you miriam handler for producing another hit for us to enjoy
it was amazing! we were amazed by there talent. from singing to dancing it made us laugh so hard!!!!
I settled down to watch a cute video, hopefully with a couple of nice parts, and was wowed again and again! Beginning with Peter Rabbit- absolutely hilarious and so professionally produced, there were no distractions in the smooth flow. My absolute fave is Seize the Day- CHANCHY YOU ROCK!!!!!!!!!! wow! The flexible way you adapt to every scene you are in, simultaneously convincing me that you are an adorable schoolgirl, man reading a newspaper, singer with strange ideas about punctuation, actress preparing for a show, interviewer, a charismatic, determined youth who instigates a strike, star soloist in a finale choir...you take my breath away with your stage presence and cool confidence. Love it! I WANT TO SEE MORE!!! Great job, guys.
This show is a variety show, each scene separate. It contains MANY scenes of clever funny comedy, and beautiful songs. And just lots of great out-of-the-box performances. The professionalism is as excellent as we expect from this amazing group. A worthwhile view. It's still not the same as a real play which flows smoothly in a cohesive way, so here's joining the others who hope they'll return to their regular plays next year. I did appreciate the tochen and Jewish content this year which is sorely lacking in their plays. Can you please, please create a Jewish historical play at the same incredible level of professionalism?
