This was phenomenal! Allow me to give a synopsis: Jenna has everything. Except a loving family. Or true friendship. Or personal fulfillment. Well, maybe she doesn't have everything but she does have lots of money. That is, until her rich father dies and stipulates in his will that she can have it all only if she learns the "value of money." He had instructed his lawyer that, at the time of his passing, she is to cut off all credit lines to Jenna and stop paying all bills. Jenna is to be ousted from her position as executive director at her father's company and placed as a teacher in a Jewish elementary school. If she can successfully teach a full year, support herself and truly make it on her own, then she gets her old life back. For someone accustomed to designer clothes, live-in maids, and people doing whatever she tells them to do, Jenna is forced to learn a lot of new skills quickly (and somewhat painfully). The blow is cushioned by her new roommate, Becky, who teaches her kindness and many other things (like how to shop for sales). It starts as a really rough year, but Jenna ultimately learns that there are things better than money. Watch as Jenna transforms this classroom of boisterous kids who don't believe in themselves and, in doing so, changes herself. I left a lot out so you can discover the magic yourself. It's very well done. Speaking as a teacher, I cried several times while watching this. It's excellent, touching and promotes many positive values.
