Daniel Mizrachi‘s story is truly fascinating. Many years ago he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and now he is considered one of the most affected people in Israel by this disease. Nonetheless, he does not seek out pity or to be considered as a nebach. Cerebral Palsy may have gotten him physically, but it has also taught him a thing or two about meaningfulness in life. The perspective he got from being in a wheelchair was very eye-opening to him. A number of months ago he wrote a letter to El Al asking for the company to fulfill his life’s dream of coming to America and being at the Kever of the Lubavitcher Rebbe. He waited a few months, until he received a response from El Al saying that they would fulfill his request! They gave him three tickets, one for him, and two more for those who would aid and assist him medically on his journey. He was so excited, and he contacted Zevi Fried from the Shira choir, who connected him to and and took him to visit some of the major names in Jewish music, such as MBD, Yeedle, Lipa, Yaakov Shwekey, and Yossi Green. Daniel also sang some of his own compositions for these artists and they will be featured on his album.
