The simple yet powerful production behind Shlomo Katz’s latest solo album has been an intense and exciting project with one intent: to be able to create a home in our hearts, in order to carry the message of the title of this album ‘Malei Olam’, a World filled with G-dliness. Recorded in Yerushalayim, Malei Olam features some of today’s most talented artists in the Israeli circuit. Yonatan Razel, Avi Songolda, and Lazer Lloyd are just a few of whom you will meet while listening to these tracks. There is also a special guest appearance by Avshalom Katz, Shlomo’s father who joins in for a duet on the title track ‘Malei Olam’.
It has been three years since Shlomo’s last successful release ‘Vehakohanim’, and two years since releasing ‘Keshoshana’ together with Chaim Dovid and Ahron Razel.
Malei Olam features nine originals, as well as an unrecorded masterpiece of an early 1960′s gem from Reb Shlomo Carlebach, Katz’s spiritual mentor.
So sit back, with your heart and mind as one, and let the music take you to the Holy City, where this music was first written. For more please visit ShlomoKatz.com
