Petach Libcha: In Memory of Eyal Yifrach, Naftali Frenkel & Gil-Ad Sha’ar [Official Video]

On Erev Yom Hazikaron, the video clip for the song Petach Libcha was released, which was written in memory of the three kidnapped and murdered boys, and heard for the first time about 2 months ago.

The song, which is the handiwork of the friends of the boys from Yeshivat Mekor Chaim, was written and composed by singer Dovid D’or, who connected with the families during the days of the kidnapping.

In the months after the finding of the bodies, the friends of the boys requested to perpetuate their memory by creating a song. The friends turned towards singer Dovid D’Or and joined him in their desire to write the song. D’or was excited about the project, and wrote the words of the song and composed it together with Ilan Keinan.

D’or was joined by singers Kobi Aflallo, David Broza, Yishai Ribo, Yonatan Razel, and Avraham Fried to take part in the recording of the song, as well as some family members of the boys. Tomer Hadadi produced and arranged the entire project.

In the clip itself some of the family members participated, as well as the friends from the Yeshiva and of course the singers. The clip accompanies the journey that they went through over the past few months since the kidnapping, including the families of the boys, the friends from Yeshiva and Am Yisrael. It is a journey of hope, of uncertainty, of unity, of prayer and great pain.

Lyrics:
