The Giant of Jewish Music, Ohad Moskowitz, presents two new clips from an event in New York, where he performed the classics “Shma B’ni” and a special melody for “Im Eshkachech”
Ohad Moskowitz presents two new clips from a recent event in New York.
An exciting and unique performance of the classic “Shma B’ni” in the joint melody of MBD and Mona Rosenblum and “Im Eshkachech” in a special melody that was sung at the Shalabim Yeshiva over the years.
The performance is accompanied by a chorus “Yedidim” in a musical production by Maestro Israel Lam, with the entire event produced by Aaron Teitelbaum & David Fadida.
The song “Shma B’ni” does not need explanation, it’s one of the treasures of Jewish music,” says Ohad, “but the special melody for “Im Eshkachech” I did learn especially for this event.
Parents of the song’s composer approached me during the event. They shared with me how heart-touching it was for them to hear their son’s melody.
For me, those little moments are the ones that make the whole difference and give me the reward for hard work and effort I put in every event.
Ohad, who performs throughout the year in the United States, is currently in Israel working on recordings for his sixth album, from which the hit “Levado” was released last week and already claimed tops on radio stations.
Watch the debut of the song ‘Levado‘ from a performance in New York, where Ohad taught the song to the audience for the very first time.
