This past September we were introduced to a new talent, newcomer Zevi Weinstock, with the release of his debut single “Shir Shel Shevach.” Jewish music fans across the world were thrilled with the single and were looking forward to hear more from Zevi.
]Well, the wait is over. With Lag Baomer here and music back on the menu, Zevi is proud to present his new single “V’ahavta.” Believe it or not, this song was written back in 1998 to the words “Baruch Hashem.” Fast forward twenty years till production actually started on the song, and things suddenly changed. As Zevi was singing the song to his good friend and producer Ari Cukier, he had a thought. How great would it be if the entire world would be in harmony? No more fighting, war, hate or hunger – just peace and love for one another. On a whim while in the studio, they changed the words to V’ahavta. Needless to say, it was the smartest move ever.
The hit with a summery vibe, produced and arranged by talented producer/arranger/composer Doni Gross, combined with the added vocals by friend and Lev Tahor band member Ari Cukier, will have you humming this tune till long after Winter. As with Zevi’s last single, this song is just packed with harmonies and just an uplifting feeling that will leave you repeating this song again and again.
