Benzion and Luzy Klatzko – Leil Shimurim – 24 Hours to Freedom [Composed by Benzion Klatzko]

It’s 3:30 AM. The Seder is over.
Years ago, Rabbi Klatzko composed a song to be sung at the very end of the seder (when most of the family and guests are sleeping already)!
It was called “Leil Shimurim” – The Night of Watching.
It goes through some of the key verses in the Torah that describe a magnificent 24 hour period, beginning with the Korban Pesach and ending with the Jewish people leaving Egypt.
Every year the Klatzko family sings this tune, with each of the children singing a different part. It has four parts, with two parts slow and majestic and two parts uplifting and optimistic. May this be the last year we sing this in Galus!

Performed by Benzion Klatzko and Luzy Klatzko
Composed by Benzion Klatzko
Arranged by Yisroel Ament
