Based on Hector Malot's novel Nobody's Boy, 'Somebody's Boy' is a heartfelt musical about love and the search for belonging. With original music and dance, it tells the story of Rémi, a spirited French boy, and Vitalis, a talented yet mysterious Italian street performer. When Rémi is forced to leave the only home he’s ever known, he embarks on a journey with Vitalis, a rough but kind-hearted performer who spots Rémi's unique talent while concealing his own troubled past. Together, they navigate the hardships of travel and street life and through their adventures form a deep bond. At a sudden twist of events, Vitalis must make a heart-wrenching sacrifice to give Rémi the future he deserves, even as he seeks peace with his own past. Beautiful
Like all Regal shows, this is beautiful, professionally produced and well worth it. The story is nice. Cute young main actresses. The dances are stunning, with many beautiful songs. Our favorites are the toy dance (imagine a teddy bear dancing), the carousel dance, and "winter, spring". I also love the stars song. Enjoy!
Delightful!
I found this musical to be delightful! It's a sweet, feel-good show with beautiful singing and dancing! (I was particularly happy to see Menucha Rothenberg in a dominant role as I love her voice, but BH, it was a great cast all around!) I think they actually provide a summary this time but I'll give one anyway. Basically, a baby named Remy is found abandoned and you follow him as he gets passed from hand to hand as necessity wills it. He's well loved in most scenarios and you come to love his adoptive parents and Master Vitalis as he does, as well as feel the suspense when things go awry for his master and himself. And of course, you feel the joy when things work out very satisfyingly in the end! There's an extra sweet element to the show as a kind, likable old man version of Remy narrates the story of his childhood to the children in his orphanage. He empathizes with the little boy, occasionally sings with him and adds some depth to the moment. In the end, I enjoyed the ride and felt swept up in the good vibes and the kindness and love seen throughout the show.

Amazing as usual!! We loved watching Somebody's Boy! It was so professional! The costumes and props were breathtaking and the actresses and dancers are so so talented. Really recommend it for all ages
