Really cute!
Super cute! Very, very old though, and the quality isn't great. Nice storyline, very cool props, and I loved the garden! The singing wasn't my favorite, I just didn't really like the songs. All the actresses were awesome though! Loved the accents. Overall, worth it for the price, though other Regal Productions are better.
Awesome!
I really enjoyed it! There were some really solid voices (Dicken- Just woah, Master Craven, servants) and some really solid acting (Mrs. Medlock sounded exactly like Maggie Smith! Margaret was spectacular and I just loved Martha!) I'll admit that the whole time I was watching it I was thinking of the movie and my old love for that was making this production even more enjoyable for me. Otherwise, I'm not sure how engaging I would have found the plot. It was good but perhaps a bit dragged out? Any way, the music was spectacular and that's what I care about most. The overall quality of this musical really satisfied me so I've given it five stars and I would totally watch it again! I would like to add that as these musicals nonsensically don't have synopses, so I'll give a quick explanation of the plot: Margaret is orphaned and sent to live with her super rich uncle who is terribly bitter and has kind of forgotten how to love since his wife died ten years prior. He has a son, Collin, but is afraid to get to close because his evil and scheming brother, Doctor Craven, has told him that Collin is too delicate... Will probably die...yadda yadda yadda. So Collin is commanding and unloved. Margaret is commanding and unloved. Master Craven is bitter and unloved.... Such a happy family. Margaret, with help from Dicken, comes to unite the family, bringing light and happiness and childish innocence with her. All through her love of the secret garden.
good but..
It was great, just a little dragged out and boring. i don't go for the flowers talking, i like real stuff
Wonderful musical play
Video recording of play with great costumes, choreography, bill, and score. Very good dramatization of the story you may already be familiar with.
