This is my favourite album I’ve heard in many years. I don’t even know where to start. First off from a sound point of view, it’s fantastic. Such high quality recording and it’s really all around you when you listen to it. The acapella voice layering is incredible. So much depth of sound. Such a high quality album. Then the songs themselves. The lyrics are so motivating, straight from the heart, it’ll lift you up in all possible ways. Some songs in here are also really great workout songs if you’re doing a brisk walk or a treadmill, this sefirah album has a few amazing tracks that have a beat that will make the heart and the body pump up with motivation. Then there’s the music, it is very very ‘Jewish’ sound (we all know it’s not an official term but you know what I mean), yet fit to be a super radio hit in the best possible way. Sometimes you hear songs sound, dare I say, ‘goyish’ in the music that was given to them.....This one sounds purely Jewish (to me) yet fit to be a hit radio classic in every possible way. I also feel that it fits for every Jewish identity (I’m not fully ashkenaz, and I connected to this album in such a strong way. There are not as many singers out now that make music that non Yiddish speakers could fully feel a connection with as well. This is an all around beautiful style of music that I personally feel anyone would really connect to, from all sides of the family) This is a positive, stunning album that is so motivating, it lifted me up in every possible way. Thank you so much!!!
