A refreshing new sound on the Jewish music scene
Michael performed at our Shabbos Project Havdalah Concert this weekend and quickly won over the crowd, starting with his soulful recitation of tehillim and ending with a crazy dancing kumzitz. Cleveland loved him! He and his band were beyond impressive! But not run of the mill -- Michael writes and sings music that is truly musical. He has breadth and talent. Here's why he's great: Michael's album is fresh and modern, with terrific instrumentals representing various musical genres. A pleasure to listen to each song -- and each one surprises you with it's ingenuity. Michael has a unique voice that is soulful, gentle, nuanced and inspiring, yet strong and varied at the same time. This album is a pleasure to listen to and one that offers so many styles of music. Some super fantastic and brilliant songs are: Lecha, Od Yishoma, Shema, Modeh Ani, and Ana Hashem. This is a truly wonderful album. It is fresh, honest and emotional. Each song tells its own story while drawing the listener in with its lyrics and passion. The quality of production is top-notch. And Michael Nadatas voice is special!! Bottom line is that this album is awesome!

This is a CD that every person should purchase and take the time to listen to! It's a new way to appreciate some Jewish classics, learn a few you may have never heard before and will keep you wanting more. You can hear the love and emotion through the music. Michael Nadata is a very talented musician who can bring together a love of music and Judaism just by playing a few notes on the piano. Thanks for sharing your talent and music with us, Michael!!
