Benny Sings at Unity Concert for CGI Beachwood, OH

by Jewish Music Reporter August 12, 2014

On Thursday, August 7 the Jewish citizens of Cleveland, OH were treated to a world class performance by the chassidic recording star Benny Friedman. The event was hosted by Camp Gan Israel of Beachwood, a fundraising event that benefited both Camp Gan Israel of Beachwood and Camp Gan Israel of Ashdod.
Benny performed his greatest hits, some popular Jewish tunes and a special set with the campers of CGI Beachwood. Everyone in attendance left the evening in high spirits. Zahava of Pepper Pike said, “Last night was lots of fun.” Alan of Beachwood said, “I was expecting a good show and it was a great show!”  Leah of Cleveland Heights said, “ The concert was a real “mechayah” for me –  new life for my soul.”
“The community was so uplifted, transported to such a happy place.” said CGI Beachwood’s director, Rivky Friedman, “We are going to have to make this an annual thing!”
