Avishai Levy Is Ready for a Comeback!

Avishai Levy was defined as the “wonder boy of the Mizrachi music” in the eighties, when he was only seven. Time passed and he became the main vocalist of the legendary children’s choir “Pirchei Yerushalayim”, which was a very popular choir throughout Israel and around the world. In 1988 was Levy’s debut album “Mi Keil Komoche” which was a great success, Levy has released five studio albums that were milestones in the Middle Eastern Jewish Music.

After many years out of the business, focusing on building a family Levy is now ready for a a big comeback. Avishay returns to center stage accompanied by a new band lineup with first class musicians.

“Avakeshcha” – a moving ballad from the depths of the heart that seeks “Please God, please answer me please God what is happening to me … hear my voice calling you … notice me not gone from you.” Yair Avidan wrote the words relating to this powerful music. Here a sample below.
