This is a song Oorah put out that encapsulates the universal feeling of yearning that we all feel at certain times of the year or in our life. Times like neilah on Yom Kippur or as we dance with the Torah close to our hearts. A feeling of close connection to Hashem. That high of being in touch with our Neshama and our own special Chelek in Hashem’s Torah. It’s a universally Jewish feeling. But there are so many Jews out there for whom this feeling is so buried under layers of distance and not knowing that they can hardly access it. Oorah is an organization that enables each of us to reach out and to share this joy we have. Because they are looking from the outside in and yearning to be a part and all we have to do is show them that they too have a Chelek in the Torah. Vsein chelkeinu b’sorasecha – that same Tefilla that we ask Hashem for ourselves is their Tefilla too. And through Oorah, we can help make it come true for them.
