I really liked alot of the songs, and you can see where Eli's influence really shaped this album!
on repeat in my car
Seems to be Eli Shwebel with backup vocals as opposed to three people singing together like the other albums. Their singing and instruments is good as always but I was not impressed by the song choices. Three of the songs were already put out (Yagga and dont stop giving are just redone from eli shwebel's album and dror yikra was put out on Harei Yehuda with lev tahor and rivie shwebel in 2008) and a fourth is n old non-jewish song (mr tanner) but they all are pretty good. I was slightly disturbed by the intro to simchas beis hashueva about lipa putting on a concert in the beis hamikdash but as far as the actual songs go, they are all very nice (especially Gam Zu and Lecha dodi) and they are pumping catchy tunes.
I can listen to this album again and again and again. And I can't say that for most other albums!
Really enjoyed this new album - a breath of fresh air in an era of stale Jewish music rehashing the same formulaic music for the last 30 years.
