Melech Frank is quickly becoming one of my favourite artists. Baruch Shem is approaching transcendent in its composition, performance and production. It’s on heavy rotation here. One listen leads to another and one feels uplifted and at peace as a result. I do not understand the language, but when word and music speak to the heart, language is no barrier. I believe the song draws me closer to Hashem and to reflection upon my relationship with the One True G-d. That means Melech has a profound gift and talent and anything that we as his audience can encourage is a very worthwhile endeavour.
