Just before the release of his third album, Naftali Kempeh releases a new single titled- "Thinking of Yerushalayim", accompanied by a special video clip that best conveys the message: no matter where a Jew is, no matter what a Jew does, he is alway thinking of Yerushalayim, he dreams for Moshiach to come!
I am thinking of Yerushalayim Ir Hakodesh
I am dreaming of Moshiach, the day will come
The lyrics were inspired by the famous cry of R' Shlomo Carlebach z"l That his yahrzeit is this week,
"This cry of R' Shlomo has been in my heart for several years. I really wanted to turn it into a song, a Jewish anthem, to remind us what our real dream is, where our deepest thoughts are," says Naftali, "I am so happy with the result and hope that what comes from the heart will enter the heart."
This special clip was filmed in a daily routine in New York and in Yerushalayim, with the message: No matter where he may be, a Jew always thinks of Yerushalayim and in the whole world a Jew's dream is about Moshiach's imminent arrival.
Next level song! Easy to learn and easy to love. Really touching.
