Interen plays are incredibly professional and well-done. This one is particularly fascinating with an excellent storyline and accurate historical content, depicting the Roman Empire in the years after Churban Bayis Sheini. All their plays have unusually outstanding props, sets, and special effects, and this one was no exception. I liked the boat scene, the Roman Coliseum, and Kever Rochel. The acting is good and the singing is beautiful, but I must say that Leiby Wieder's acting is a cut above the rest. In particular his nonverbal acting is incredibly realistic and engaging. His role in this play is just fantastic, complex, a tough Roman but not a villain. I'd like to add that for my Litvish kids with partial knowledge of the Yiddish language, watching these plays is literally the best way to learn Yiddish. There's rich context to help them understand, and it's so entertaining. These plays are wholesome, have tochen, and I feel very comfortable having my children watch them. Highly recommend!
The Interns are amaaaaaaazing! Can't wait to see this!
