Just Wonderful!

I went to the show and it was absolutely terrific. So full of joy. I would like to share my unsolicited opinion though. I love these women’s plays because I get to see women performing. We all bH get to see children perform in school and camp productions. If women can play men convincingly then they can easily play children convincingly. I also feel, based on what I heard from mothers who’s children have either been in the play or wanted to be in it, that kids and teenagers have a much harder time dealing emotionally with the adulation, the rejection and the marginalization respectively. If going forward, there could be a rule of post high school women only, I think that would benefit the Rachel’s place play productions immeasurably. Might I also add that I do not believe that people realize that the reason Rachel’s Place plays have been consistently above and beyond any other women’s performance in professionalism is due to the mostly unacknowledged talent and dedication of Chani Schick. She blows my mind. Thank you Chani for sharing your musical genius with all of us.
