This was a very powerful production; the script was very well done and really got the message across. I found myself crying at some points and laughing at other points. If you are looking for a Broadway quality production for entertainment (like the Rachel's Place plays), this is not what you want. If you are looking for a very well done, powerful production with a very real message, this is what you want. The acting was very good and the few dances were incredible. The music/song quality wasn't great- I don't know if it was the recording quality from the video or if it was a reflection of the actual play- but I would still highly recommend this. Just don't watch it for the music/song quality. I watched it twice so far and I'm sure I'll watch it again.
Loved the songs too!!
Like the ads I saw quoting Rebbitzen Shira Smiles about this video, "Sensitive, insightful, magnificently done." I've watched it over and over... (Not sure what a previous post meant about the dialogue being hard to hear, there was only one bit where the sound was too low, and the "husband" is meant to be "offstage" there.) It really spoke to me. A brilliant and original play!
Good lesson for good midos.
I and my friends were transfixed in our seats the whole way through. It was so real and true-to-life , it captured our hearts and minds. Shoshana E.
