Let's give it up for Yoni!

Let me start off. Yoni Z is a relatively new singer, and I think he'***** it out of the ball park really. He is starting to rise into the jewish music scene, and this album just gave him a big start. I don't really like the intro song, sounds kind of useless, like his album is a production or play. Ani Maamin is soooo catchy! Trust me, this song isn't that electric. There are more electric songs than this.. I don't really like Ma Naaseh. It's kind of slow. Da Ma is a nice and short song, however a certain part of the song sounds like a goyish song. Sad. Mi Adir is also slow, I skip it most of the time. I really like Taam Vaarech! It sounds very catchy and I love that Gad Elbaz is featured in it! But I don't know why the song doesn't say ft. Gad Elbaz. See You Again is a meaningful song, I really like the lyrics and it paints a very clear picture of Golus while staying true to Yoni Z's style, albeit a bit slow. Hallelukah is a very fast and nice song. Hoshana and Rak Echod I don't really like. Odeh is a really nice and catchy song that is fast but you could tell it is a sad-like song. However, I prefer the remix a bit more. Tamshich Kadimo Eyo is a very relaxing song and calming song, while Up is something different. Up has a nice tune but the lyrics sound very goyish! Don't want to give any details about the lyrics, but they sound very weird. And Kol Halelot is a meh song. Overall, it's a nice debut and I think Yoni has a lot of potential in his career as a singer. I give this album 4 and a half stars. A bit too goyish, but overall it's a good album. Watch out, jewish-superstar-in-the-making coming through!! PS: On the Mostly Music website, you can't put half stars, so I'm just giving it a five, however it deserves 4 and a half.
