Mazel Tov!!

by Kol Isha April 19, 2009

If I told you that we here at Jewish Music Report were in some small way responsible for making a shidduch, would you believe me?

Of course, you wouldn’t. This is just a Jewish music blog. We review CDs, talk about music. CDs we’ve loved. Artists we’ve met.  Shadchanim?   You must be kidding.

Let me tell you right now, this is NOT a joke.

It all started with a simple comment on a simple post. It should have ended there. Or with a response to the comment. But it didn’t. One email led to another. And the blogger and the commenter became friends.

No, I know what you’re thinking. Not even close. Just friends, nothing more. But as a friend, the blogger was able to put the commenter in touch with the individual who was able to help them find their bashert.

It’s just a music blog.   This never should have happened.

But it did.  And we here at Jewish Music Report are so humbled, so touched that we were able to play even the smallest part in something so profound.

Wishing our special Chosson and Kallah a life filled with gezunt, simcha and yiddishe nachas. May you be zoche to build a Bayis Ne’eman B’Yisroel!
